The British Columbia Lions Society, it sponsors and some of BC's very talented artists all helped make the Spirit Bear in the City and Eagles in the City programs wildly successful. Catherine was fortunate enough to be selected to decorate two of the Spirit Bears and one of the Eagles.
Below you see the progress of One-n-Ten, the first of the 7 foot tall bears painted by Catherine, sponsored by Teldon Print Media of Richmond, BC, one of the programs major partners. Northern Lights, the second of the two bears and sponsored by Holland America Line, will be shown later when we upload some of those photos next website update. Holland America, who were family-level sponsors for both the Bear and Eagle programs (sponsoring 3 of each), also generously sponsored the Eagle which Catherine painted, On Eagles' Wings.
